Fort Allen Plow Day

The Fort Allen Antique Machinery Association holds its plow day for horses and full size tractors on April 25 & 26. This show is an annual event at their beautiful grounds.

All makes of garden tractors welcome and we will be on site and if we run out of room there will be another field available.

There is a Holiday express at 119 and 819 and other motels available at New Stanton, 9 miles from the grounds.

April 24 is set up day for those camping. There may be activities added for these people.

April 25 is the IH Registry PLOW DAY IX. I have requested 40 Acres to plow as I am expecting up to 80 garden tractors. The additional plow field will be within 2 or 3 miles of the show grounds. We should have a shuttle available. There will be a porta-potty at the plow site.

We hope to have door prizes and other activities

April26 there will be ground available for those wanting to plow as they want us to plow a pumpkin patch for the museum and I want to disc it and till it for them. If you want to bring your disc and/or tiller it’s OK

Saturday night about 5:30 the women running the kitchen will prepare a meal for us as they did last year that was really good and a fair price. We will be requesting a RSVP from those attending

The door prizes will be drawn at this time.
